How to Reverse Forehead Aging

March 5, 2015 0 Comments

If you’re like me, you’re always on the lookout for signs of aging, especially when it comes to our skin.  And since everyone we see in our daily lives sees our faces, reducing forehead aging is highly sought by most people in the world.

As we age, our foreheads naturally develop unsightly lines and wrinkles that can generally make us look older.  To understand why this happens, we need to get to the root of the problem – collagen and elastin.

Collagen and elastin are proteins that exist in our skin in large quantities when we are young.  As we get older, we start losing collagen and elastin, resulting in lines are wrinkles.  Additionally, the amount of new skin cells that our body naturally produces gradually declines as we age.

What to Look for

To resolve this, it is essential to utilize products that replenish the amount of collagen and elastin in our skin.  Many of these products can be applied directly to the skin or taken orally in the form of a nutritional supplement.

When looking for products to apply to the forehead topically (directly to skin), buy those that stimulategrowth of collagen and elastin.

Most people make the mistake of purchasing products to prevent forehead aging at discount stores that actually contain the collagen and elastin proteins itself.  Collagen and elastin are too large to be absorbed through the skin.  In fact, most of the proteins will simply wash away in the shower.

Functional Keratin, found in Cynergy TK, is shown to stimulate the regrowth of collagen and elastin naturally, while stimulating new cell growth.  Also, studies show Cynergy TK sustains a 14% improvement in skin moisture over 18 days and a 42% improvement in skin elasticity over the same time frame.

Also, look for substances that preserve the skin’s hyaluronic acid, the skin’s “glue” for collagen and elastin fibers.  Phytessence Wakame is great for this.

It inhibits hyaluronidase, the enzyme responsible for breaking down hyaluronic acid in our skin.  It also contains 15 times more calcium than milk, while containing the essential ingredients to keep the skin’s moisture balance in check.  It’s also rich in vitamins B1, B2, B3, B6, and B12, nutrients essential to promoting better skin health.

So when it comes to your better skin, especially preventing or reversing forehead aging, keep these things in mind before purchasing your next skin product.  Also make sure to look for products with natural substancesand plenty of active ingredients.
